Holy Cross

Great trip with Great folks!!

Here is a list of stuff I learned...

1. You don't actually need lockers for French creek but it does look alot cooler if you do...(Howard, Mike)

2. I want a truck and a camper too...

3. Neal actually uses the earths gravational pull to not flop the zuk...

4. Cindie makes the best "whatever that was" for dinner...

5. Paris TN. who woulda thunk it?...

6. The container you use to boil water for coffee is VERY HOT...

7. Todd is my new hero for the day after crawling Cleveland rock and making it look easy like kindergarten...

8. Air up after you get to the highway...

9. Get fuel before you leave Leadville heading to your camping spot...

10. Becareful of the stories around the campfire, You might have really bad mental images burned into your brain for life...

Thank you all for an amazing weekend of wheeling.

Why did you have to wait for 3.5 hours and the creek

That's just kinda the way it is on the weekends up there. Neale counted 30+ rigs headed up before we started up. Plus a ZJ, not mine, that had a bad driver and worse spotter screwed around for like 2 of those hrs trying to get through the obstacle. Then some people in a black XJ yelled and cussed at James on the way back down!

What a great weekend. This was my first trip to Holy Cross and it was everything I hoped for (except the wait at French Creek ). The trail is definitely tough yet lots of fun, the scenery is awesome, and the camaraderie was world class. Thanks to everyone that made the trip for a great time.

Here is a link to some pictures from Holy Cross.

What an awesome weekend! This is a great trail and is even better enjoying it with such great folks. Even though we had to wait quite a while at French Creek, everything else made up for it. Thanks to Tim, Alissa & Alana for leading us on this trip and Tim and others for spotting. Also, thanks for taking great photos Cindie (and the pineapple upsidedown cake)!

Todd
